About Us
PleXus designs, manufactures, and deploys plug-and-play PoE lighting solutions for the booming connected lighting market. PleXus is the only PoE company that utilizes an open platform that allows it to connect and control any lighting fixture (even non-LEDs) and integrate with all wireless communication protocols like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EnOcean, Zigbee and others. All PleXus PoE devices are designed to fully utilize the current 90-Watt standards and are IEEE 802.3bt compliant. Every PleXus Node has built-in energy meters that dramatically enhances 100% commissioning, operability and fault detection.

Dario Gristina
Founder/CEO
Currently serving as Chairman and CEO of CPL Group USA, Dario Gristina is an experienced business operator and entrepreneur with a carrier spanning over 3 decades. Over the years Dario has successfully started, funded and exited several businesses in the construction, internet and energy space from conceptualization to funding to sale while dealing with sophisticated investors and buyers. Dario’s latest effort in the PoE Lighting space falls in line with his deep understanding of IT technology and engineering with application in the real estate industry which has been a huge part of his background. Mr. Gristina has, and continues to support several charities with special emphasis on Fountain House, for which he chairs a fundraising event that is now in its 20th year.
Frank Maricic
Senior Vice President
Frank Maricic is an energy and sustainability entrepreneur with over 25 years of business development and project management experience. In 2015, Frank founded EE Reports, a marketing and consulting company that provided targeted energy & sustainability solutions to building owners, tenants and industry professionals. In 2009, he served as the Energy Manager for the Town of Somers NY, performing energy audits on the Town’s portfolio of buildings, managing their lighting retrofit and solar PV projects, and leading the Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Climate Action Plan teams. Starting his career on Wall Street, Mr. Maricic left Warburg Pincus in 1995 to form Internet Marketing & Research Inc., which he sold in 1999. In addition, Frank is currently co-chair of the New York City 2030 District.
David Marks
Vice President of Sales
David Marks is a lighting sales veteran with 20-years of industry experience in a C-level capacity. David has a solid track record securing key clients and increasing product distribution to grow market share. Mr. Marks has been focusing on building new PleXus business and strategic partnerships with his vast network of lighting manufacturers, distributors, architects, engineers and large commercial building owners. Since joining the company in March 2019, David has also taken the technical sales role having supervised several PoE projects and documenting the installation and commissioning procedures for the PleXus manual.
