Integrated Driver Control (IDC) – The PleXus USP
PleXus introduced a revolutionary IDC technology that enables the integration of the LED driver, lighting controls and the light engine all onto one circuit board, consolidates 3 supply chains into one, creating a whole new spectrum of features and cost savings simultaneously. IDC is an innovative (PoE complimentary) solution that provides significantly more low voltage power (up to 800 Watts), while utilizing the same precision color tuning and lighting control technology (DMX) used in theaters, and most importantly, taps into the existing AC wire system dramatically reducing retrofit costs.
IDC will enable architects to design theatrical level lighting in commercial applications with precision to tightly control the fidelity of the light output (want Coca-Cola Red or Pepsi Blue?)
